My Story

Having spent what seems like a lifetime in the Television Industry, initially in front of the cameras as a Dancer and then behind the scenes as a Floor Manager, I have watched many people throw themselves into their work and lives never taking time out for themselves until they reach total exhaustion and burn out, me included!
After leaving dance college my feet never touched the ground. I was fortunate to find a career and found regular work filming a programme called Stars in their Eyes and dancing with the likes of Take That, Boyzone, and Westlife to name but a few often working 7 days week, with weekends doing Top of the Pops.
After falling pregnant at age 31 I was unable to tour anymore as it meant travelling, so I went into choreography.
At this time, I noticed that I struggled to relax, take a breath or take time out. I had total stillness my body that had been running on adrenaline and stress for many years by then.
I would ignore the signs of odd pain and push stress and fatigue to the back of my mind.
When my son was only 6 months old my partner and his dad was tragically killed in a car crash.
The shock was unbearable, my whole body went into a state of constant stress and numbness.
Coping as a single mother and a freelance dancer choreographer wasn’t going to be enough to pay the bills and the mortgage so I decided to call on some people at the BBC to help me over this horrific stage in my life and I’m so grateful so many of them were there to help me.
I have always felt a purpose in life to help others and in my time of need my friends were there for me too.
I started a new career as a runner on TV shows and worked my way up to being a Floor Manager working on variety of shows over the last 20 years that include The One Show, Strictly Come Dancing, Bake-off and even the Golden Jubilee and a few years later the sad but wonderful coverage of the Queens funeral.
One of my highlights has been Children in Need each year, it’s been humbling being around such positivity in the face of hardship and it has given me the opportunity to give back and help such a great cause.
Over the years many times when being run down my body has suffered. Dealing with autoimmune diseases such as fibromyalgia and ME I have spent a lot of time working on my mindset and learning how ailments can manifest into an illness.
25 years ago I started my calling and took all my reiki courses but maybe it wasn’t my time, I’m a big believer of things will happen when the time is right and like to go with the flow and life will take you where you’re meant to be when the time is right.
Now in my early fifties with a son of 23 and daughter 20 I have the time and freedom for my calling and my passion.
Pranic healing kept coming into my life over the years, as they say no coincidences.
Many years ago, I booked and experienced my first healing and I immediately felt a new purpose, I had found something I had been looking and waiting for or maybe it had found me.
My knowledge of past grief and stress and understanding has helped me on my journey to becoming a certified Pranic Therapist.
If I can help people who have been through trauma and abuse or have a physical condition, that they need help with, then nothing would make me happier.
